As a generalization of the classical knots, knotoids deal with the open ended knot diagram in a surface. In recent years, many invariants of knotoids have appeared, such as the bracket polynomial and the affine index polynomial etc. In this talk, we will introduce a three-variable transcendental invariant of planar knotoids and discuss some properties of it.
