In this talk, we introduce the cyclic vectors of the backward shifts on the noncommutative Hardy space. Firstly, we establish a close connection between the cyclic vectors and the Champernowne sequence.

Secondly, we extend the Douglas-Shapiro-Shields factorization to the noncommutative setting and apply it to characterize the cyclic vectors of backward shifts.
