This talk presents some recent progress on the heat equation with time-delay. We reveal a hybrid parabolic-hyperbolic nature of solutions for the above-mentioned equation. This nature exhibits what follows: First, a solution has a periodically jumping propagation of the singularity with the height 2. Second, a solution is smooth at almost everywhere.
