By expanding the dimension of the absolute value equations, in this talk we discuss two almost equivalent augmented quadratic polynomial systems, for which the singularity of the Jacobian matrices at exact solution of the original systems are analyzed. Then, by employing the conventional Newton method to the new systems, we study the numerical solution of the absolute value equations. Theoretical results and numerical examples show that our method is stable and efficient.

罗卫华,电子科技大学计算数学博士,湖南文理学院教授,围绕偏微分方程数值方法和大型线性方程组的迭代预处理求解进行研究,以第一作者身份在《Mathematics and Computers in Simulation》、《Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization》、《Applied Mathematics Letters》、《Applied Mathematics and Computation》等国际学术期刊上发表学术研究论文20余篇,主持四川省教育厅重点项目以及湖南省优秀青年基金。
