报告摘要：
Quasi-stationary distributions (QSDs), representing transient states of a diffusion process admitting an extinction state, arise frequently in applications especially in chemical reactions and population dynamics, but there are only limited rigorous studies on the subject. This talk will present some new results on the existence, uniqueness, and convergence of QSDs along with their connections to the spectrum of the Fokker-Planck operator.

易英飞，加拿大阿尔伯塔大学Killam讲席教授。研究方向为动力系统与微分方程。研究成果发表在Comm. Pure Appl. Math, Comm. Math. Phy., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., J. Func. Anal., Ann. Henri Poincaré等学术期刊。
