Computational conformal geometry is an emerging interdisciplinary field, combining modern geometry with computer science. This talk covers some fundamental algorithms such as surface Ricci flow, Teichmueller map, optimal transport map, meromorphic differential and their applications.
Computational conformal geometry has been applied in a broad range of fields in both engineering and medicine. The applications include global surface parameterization in computer graphics, surface registration and dynamic shape tracking in computer vision, structural mesh generation in computer aided engineering and so on.
