For a compact Kahler-Einstein manifold with nonpositive holomorphic sectional curvature, we have a new inequality of Chern numbers. As an application, we can construct several projective manifolds with ample canonical bundles but not with nonpositive holomorphic sectional curvature.

杜荣，博士毕业于美国伊利诺伊大学，研究方向为代数几何和复几何；现为华东师范大学数学科学学院教授、博导；在Math. Z.、 Pacific J. Math.、J. Diff. Geom.、 Ann. Mat. Pura Appl.、Asian J. Math.等高水平杂志上发表20余篇论文；主持面上项目等多项国家自然科学基金委项目。
