An efficient iterative algorithm for dynamic complementary problems

报告摘要:

We introduce in this talk an iterative algorithm for the differential linear complementarity problems consisting of two systems: the ODE system and the LCS system. Each iteration consists of two steps: by using a rough approximation of the state variable obtained from the previous iteration, we solve the LCS; then we solve the ODE system and update the state variable for preparing for the next iteration, by using the obtained constraint variable as a known source term. We prove that the algorithm converges superlinearly with arbitrarily chosen initial iterate. Numerical experiments indicate that this algorithm is superior to the widely used time-stepping method.

主讲人简介:

李科博士主要从事油藏模拟方面的研究工作,研究方向包括微分方程数值格式构造、线性代数系统迭代解法等等。在互补动力学、最优控制、神经网络等方面发表多篇论文,现为四川轻化工大学副教授。
