In this talk, Professor Guo will give a survey of some methods on constructing simple modules over the Virasoro algebra as well as his recent work with collaborators on this topic.

郭向前，郑州大学数学与统计学院教授，研究方向为李代数及其表示理论，在Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.，J. Lond. Math. Soc.， Proc. Edinb. Math. Soc.， Doc. Math.， Commun. Contemp. Math.，Israel J. Math. J. Algebra等杂志发表高水平论文四十余篇，主持国家自然科学基金面上项目两项，并多次在全国性代数及李代数会议上作报告。
