In this talk, we first introduce delay differential equations and make a review of some general numerical methods. We then introduce the discontinuous Galerkin methods under different meshes for several kinds of delay differential equations and present the convergence results. We also list some open problems for these special differential equations.

主讲人简介：
教授，博士生导师。中国数学会理事，北京计算数学学会理事。
2009年博士毕业于中科院计算数学研究所，随后在北京工业大学从事计算数学方面的教学科研工作。
主要研究积分方程与时滞微分方程高效数值解法，主要成果发表在SIAM Numer. Anal., SIAM Sci. Compt., J. Sci. Comput., J. Comput. Appl. Math.等期刊上。
主持国家自然科学基金4项，参与国家自然科学基金重大研究计划重点支持项目1项，主持北京自然科学基金面上项目、北京市教委科技面上项目各1项。入选“北京市科技新星”计划、“北京市教委青年拔尖人才”培育计划、“北京工业大学青年百人计划”、“北京工业大学日新人才”培养计划；2016年获贵州省科技进步二等奖（排名第三），2013年获首届全国微课教学比赛北京市优秀奖、北京工业大学青年教师基本功比赛二等奖。
