In this talk, we shall report some recent progresses made on some original Keller-Segel system proposed by Keller and Segel in their seminal papers in 1970-1971, where the diffusion and chemotaxis coefficients are density-dependent and intrinsically correlated. More precisely, the global boundedness, blowup and large time behavior of solutions to the Keller-Segel system with density-dependent motility are established in a two-dimensional bounded smooth domain.
