I shall talk about several novel formulations of PDEs with overdetermined data that are motivated by our studies of inverse problems. I will also talk about our recent progress for some of the problems and discuss several open problems for the future study.

主讲人简介：
刘宏宇博士，现为香港城市大学教授。他的研究领域主要为反问题及波成像、数学材料科学、PDE、动力系统几何积分子、数值分析和科学计算等领域的研究，现任Inverse Problems and Imaging 、Journal of Korean Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics 、Contemporary Analysis and Applied Mathematics国际期刊的副主编。刘宏宇教授曾获得国际反问题协会的Calderon Prize（2017）、MediaV Young Researcher Prize（2016）等奖项，在Journal of the European Mathematical Society、Journal de Mathematiques Pures et Appliquees、Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.、Comm. Math. Phys.、J. F. A.、Calculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations、Communications in Partial Differential Equations、J. D. E, Math. Comp.，SIAM系列、Inverse Problems等国际顶级期刊上发表了100多篇论文。
