Given an (n x N)-matrix with integer entries, Gelfand, Kapranov and Zelevinsky introduced a system of differential equations on the affine space C^N. These systems generalize the hypergeometric functions in a uniform way. In this talk, I will give a short review of GKZ-systems. In particular, l will introduce the composition series on GKZ-systems.

方江学，博士毕业于南开大学陈省身数学研究所，研究方向为代数几何；现为首都师范大学数学科学院副教授；在 Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.、Pacific J. Math. 、J. Algebra等杂志上发表多篇论文；主持面上项目、青年项目等多项国家自然科学基金委项目。
