报告摘要：

Let p>1, the Lp Toeplitz algebra is a Banach algebra generated by unilateral shift and its reverse on Lp(N). This algebra contains the compact operators on lp(N) as a closed, two‐sided ideal. In this talk, we show that the quotient by this ideal is isometrically isomorphic to the reduced group Lp operator algebra of the integers. This answers a question of Phillips. As an application, we show that the K‐theory of the Lp Toeplitz algebra is independent of p.

主讲人简介：

汪镇，莆田学院讲师，2018年在华东师范大学获得博士学位，同年7月在莆田学院工作。现获批一项福建省自然科学基金青年项目。主要研究算子代数与非交换几何相关问题，在Chinese annals of mathematics, series B发表一篇文章，在Israel Journal of Mathematics接收一篇文章。
