In this talk, we first give a survey about the closed geodesic problem. Then we will introduce the enhanced common index jump theorem with some recent applications to the multiplicity and stability of periodic orbits.

主讲人简介：

段华贵，南开大学数学科学学院教授、博士生导师，南开大学数学科学学院副院长，“南开大学百名青年学科带头人培养计划”入选者。研究领域为动力系统与非线性分析，主要从事哈密顿系统中的闭轨道与微分几何中的闭测地线的研究，相关成果发表在JDG，Adv. Math.， JFA，JDE，Calculus of Variations and PDEs等国际数学期刊。
