Since the PT symmetry was presented by Bender et al in the non-Hermitian Hamiltonians, it has played a more and more important role in both linear and nonlinear wave systems. We discuss the soliton properties of the generalized nonlinear Schroedinger equations with several non-Hermitian PT-symmetric potentials.
