Consider the electromagnetic scattering and inverse scattering problems by rough surfaces and obstacles. In this talk, we mainly focus on acoustic waves and electromagnetic wave cases. The asymptotic behavior of Green’s tensor function is analyzed and plays an important role in the analysis of the well-posedness of the direct problem. By introducing an energy decaying condition, a novel boundary integral equation is proposed for the associated boundary value problem. Based on the related boundary integral equation method, we prove the well-posedness of the composite scattering problem. For the inverse problem, we intend to answer the following question: what information can we extract about the obstacle and the unbounded rough surface from the tangential trace of the electric field measured on the plane surface which is above and below the obstacle and unbounded rough surface, respectively? We show that any two obstacles and unbounded rough surfaces are identical if they generate the same data.The proof is based on a combination of Holmgren's uniqueness and unique continuation. The second result is concerned with local stability. A crucial step in the stability proof is to obtain the existence and characterization of the domain derivative of the electric field with respect to the shape of the obstacle and unbounded rough surface.

主讲人简介:
张磊,男, 黑龙江大学数学科学学院,教授。现任黑龙江省数学会理事、黑龙江省工业与应用数学会理事。2013年毕业于吉林大学数学研究所,获得理学博士学位。随后在浙江大学数学系从事博士后研究工作。2018年在美国普渡大学做访问学者一年。研究方向为数学物理反问题,特别关注声学、电磁学散射与反散射,粗糙表面散射与反散射问题的数学理论及计算方法。先后主持国家及省部级项目八项。在Inverse Problems,Journal of Computational Physics,SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences等学术期刊上发表学术论文二十余篇,针对锥形波入射多尺度粗糙表面无相位数据反散射问题的研究成果被英国物理学会反问题杂志(IOP Inverse Problems)选为“亮点收录”。2016年获得浪潮青年学术奖,曾应邀在国内外学术会议上做学术报告二十余次。
