Ado’s theorem says that a finite-dimensional Lie superalgebra has a finite-dimensional faithful representation. In this talk we introduce certain results and open questions on the minimal faithful reps of Lie (super)algebras, such as reductive ones, simple ones, nilpotent ones, and abelian ones.

刘文德， 东北师范大学博士，中科大博士后，哈尔滨师范大学数学科学学院教授、副院长，哈尔滨工业大学博士生导师，黑龙江省数学学会的常务理事，主要从事李超代数研究。主持过国家自然科学基金面上项目、黑龙江省杰出青年科学基金、中国博士后科学基金、省自然科学基金等项目。
