报告摘要：
We establish the singular limits, including semiclassical, nonrelativistic and nonrelativistic-semiclassical limits, of the Cauchy problem for the modulated defocusing nonlinear Klein–Gordon equation. We also perform the mathematical derivation of the compressible and incompressible Euler equations from the modulated nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation.
主讲人简介：
林琦焜教授目前任教於在蘇州西交利I 物浦大學(XJTLU)數學科學系。2014年於台灣新竹交通大學應用數學系退休。美國亞歷桑納大學(University of Arizona, USA)數學博士，國立台灣大學數學碩士，曾任加拿大亞伯達大學與Concordia大學客座教授，奧地利維也納大學與美國史丹福大學(Stanford University, USA)訪問學者，成功大學數學系系主任兼應用數學研究所所長與成功大學特聘教授。也曾擔任國科會自然處數學學門審議委員與諮議委員。主要研究興趣是與流體力學、量子力學相關的偏微分方程(數學物理方程)理論。教學研究之餘也關心數學教育與數學科普文章之創作。
