Dr. Jianlin Xia is now an assistant professor of Department of Mathematics, Purdue University. He obtained his PhD degree from University of California, Berkeley. His research interests are numerical linear algebra, scientific computing, specifically, • Large scale linear systems and least squares problems • Large eigenvalue problems • Fast and reliable condition estimation • Numerical differential equations • Nonlinear systems
