In this talk, I will demonstrate how two mathematical software packages, Maple and Matlab, can be used to enhance mathematical teaching and research. I will show a number of software applications that I have written over years for my teaching and research. I will share the Maple and Matlab code with you.
主讲人简介：
王海燕，男，美国Arizona State University终身副教授。1985年于西北师范大学获理学学士学位、1988年于中国海洋大学获理学硕士学位，1997年获Michigan State University计算机科学硕士学位和数学博士学位。1988-1992年，中国海洋大学讲师，1992-1997年，Michigan State University助教，1997-2004年，Informative Graphics Corporation软件工程师，2004-2005年，University of Central Arkansas助理教授，2005-2011年，Arizona State University助理教授，2011-至今，Arizona State University终身副教授。现为《Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering 》等7种国际杂志编委。主要研究方向是微分方程及生物数学。共完成学术论文60篇。至2011年8月，其论文已被SCI刊物引用1031次。
