报告摘要:
Poisson algebras play a crucial role in the theory of Hamiltonian ODE. In the case of Hamiltonian PDE, a similar role is taken by Poisson vertex algebras. In these lectures, we discuss the theory of Poisson vertex algebras and their generalizations, in relation to integrability of Hamiltonian PDE. In particular, we discuss the theory of affine classical W-algebras and apply it to construct a large class of integrable Hamiltonian PDE. We also discuss differential-difference Hamiltonian equations in the framework of multiplicative PVA.

主讲人简介:
Alberto De Sole is a full professor of mathematics at university of Rome. He received his PhD in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2003 under the supervision of Victor Kac. Prior to his current position, he held positions as a Benjamin Peirce Assistant Professor at Harvard University and as a researcher at Sapienza. His research focuses on algebra and mathematical physics, with particular expertise in vertex algebras, Poisson vertex algebras, W-algebras, Lie conformal algebras, and their applications to integrable Hamiltonian partial differential equations and quantum field theory. He has authored numerous influential papers and is recognized internationally for his contributions to these fields.
