A dichotomy for measures of maximal entropy for some Discretized Anosov Flows

报告摘要:

In this joint work in progress with Crovisier, Poletti, Tahzibi, we consider Discretized Anosov Flows (eg, perturbations of time-one maps of Anosov flows) and study their measures of maximal entropy (MMEs) under some irreducibility condition. We prove the following dichotomy: either (1) there are exactly two ergodic  MMEs, one with positive and one with negative center exponent, or (2) there is a unique MME with zero center exponent. Moreover, the case (1) is generic and implies exponential mixing for each ergodic MME.

主讲人简介:

Prof. BUZZI holds a 1995 PhD from Université Paris-Sud, has worked in Dijon, Marseilles, and is now a senior researcher in Orsay. He is a specialist in dynamics and studies smooth ergodic theory. His focus is on the interplay between entropy, smoothness,Lyapunov exponents and symbolic dynamics from the point of view of the thermodynamic formalism. He is an invited speaker at ICM 2026.
