Periodic dynamics of a single species model based on seasonal Michaelis-Menten type harvesting

In this talk, we introduce a seasonally interactive model between closed season and open season based on Michaelis-Menten type harvesting. Assume that the single species grows at the well-known logistic rate during the closed season, and is harvested by Michaelis-Menten type function rate in the open season. By defining two length thresholds of the closed season, we provide a comprehensive description of the dynamics of the model, which includes the existence and the number of periodic solutions, as well as the stability of both the origin and periodic solutions. Numerical examples are carried out to support these theoretical results. Brief conclusions and discussions on our findings are also provided.

主讲人简介:
冯晓梅,教授,硕士生导师。主要从事生物数学模型的理论与应用研究,在《J. Differential Equations》、《Journal of Mathematics Biology》、《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems-Series B》等国内外学术期刊发表论文30多篇,目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项,先后主持完成国家自然青年科学基金1项,国家天元基金访问项目1项,中国博士后科学基金第65批面上项目1项及多项省级项目。曾入选山西省“三晋英才”支持计划青年优秀人才,获山西省高等学校优秀成果奖(自然科学类)一等奖1项和山西省科学技术奖(自然科学类)二等奖1项。
