We discuss in this talk the analytical and numerical stability of nonlinear neutral integro-differential equations (IDEs). We first establish sufficient conditions for the analytical stability of such equations with a variable coefficient. We then prove that any A-stable linear multistep method can preserve the asymptotic stability of the exact solution in the case of constant ones. Finally, numerical experiments are presented to validate our theoretical results.
