In this talk, a general setting is proposed to define a class of modules over non-semisimple Lie algebras induced by a nonperfect ideal. This class of Lie algebras includes many well-known Lie algebras, and some of this class of modules are Whittaker modules and others are not. By introducing a new concept: the Whittaker annihilator for universal quasi-Whittaker modules, we are able to determine the necessary and sufficient conditions for the irreducibility of the universal quasi-Whittaker modules. In the reducible case, we can obtain some maximal submodules. The talk is based on a joint paper with C. Cheng, W. Gao, S. Liu and Y. Zhao.

赵开明,加拿大Wilfrid Laurier University教授、博导,中国科学院“百人计划”入选者”。主要从事无穷维李代数表示理论和非交换代数等领域的研究工作,相关成果发表在《Adv. Math.》、《Proc. London Math. Soc.》、《Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.》、《Israel J. Math.》、《Math. Z.》、《Selecta Math.(N.S.)》、《J. Algebra》、《J. Pure Appl. Algebra》等知名期刊,主持完成多项加拿大研究理事会基金项目和多项国家面上项目,是国际代数学领域有重要影响的专家。
