Babuska Problem and its Applications in Subwavelength Resonance Problem

报告摘要:

In   high-contrast composite materials, stress concentration occurs in the narrow   regions between adjacent hard inclusions as they approach close proximity.   Significant progress has been made over the past two decades in understanding   such concentration phenomenon. Recently, the singularities of higher-order   derivatives of solutions for the Lam\'e system and the Stokes equations in   between closely spaced inclusions are both derived. In this talk we will demonstrate   how gradient estimates derived for the electrostatic equation and the Lam\'e   system can be extended to analyze resonant interactions in systems of multiple   closely spaced acoustic subwavelength resonators and subwavelength elastic   resonators.

主讲人简介:

李海刚,北京师范大学教授,博士生导师,国家级高层次青年人才。主要从事材料科学中偏微分方程的理论研究,在复合材料中的Babuska问题、亚波长共振、流-固悬浮问题等方面取得系列进展,已在《Math. Ann.》《Adv. Math.》、《Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.》、《J. Math. Pures Appl.》、 《Trans. AMS》、《Calc. Var.& PDEs》、《SIAM J. Math. Anal.》等著名数学刊物发表论文50余篇。荣获教育部霍英东基金,教育部自然科学二等奖,北京市自然科学二等奖等奖励。
