Area operators and Carleson measures on Hardy spaces on the unit ball of C^n

报告摘要：

We characterize boundedness and compactness of area operators from H^p into L^q(S_n) in terms of Carleson measures for 0<p,q<\infty by using the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function and the theory of tent spaces established by Coifman, Mayer and Stein in 1985. This generalizes the corresponding result by Gong, Lou and Wu on the unit disk of the complex plane C where the tools used are not available in higher dimensions, such as Calderon-Zygmund decomposition and the strong factorization for Hardy spaces.

主讲人简介：

娄增建，汕头大学理学院教授、博士生导师，研究领域为调和分析和复分析。1998年和2002年分别获中国科学院、澳大利亚国立大学博士学位。现任广东省数学会副理事长、中国数学会理事。曾任汕头大学数学系主任、理学院院长、汕头市数学会理事长。曾入选广东省“千百十工程”省级培养专家、汕头市优秀拔尖人才、广东省南粤优秀教师，曾获李嘉诚基金会卓越教学奖。主持完成国家自然科学基金及广东省自然科学基金多项，其研究成果主要发表在Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., Indiana Univ. Math. J., J. Geom. Anal., Science China: Mathematics等知名学术期刊。
