A class of relaxation methods for large scale RC circuits

We introduce a class of relaxation algorithms for a class of heat equations with Riemann-Liouville derivative. The algorithm contains a free parameter, which has a significant effect on the convergence rate of the relaxation algorithm, and optimizing this parameter is an important step for the convergence analysis of the relaxation algorithm. By studying the monotonic properties of the convergence factor obtained by applying the Fourier transform to the error functions, we provide a realiable choice of the parameter in the algorithm. Numerical results are provided, which show that the analyzed parameter results in satisfactory convergence rate.

主讲人简介:

Mohammad Al-Khaleel, 现任职于雅尔穆克大学大学数学系,主要研究方向为电路系统控制理论、电路系统稳定性分析以及偏微分方程数值计算。近年来在IEEE Trans.系列、SINUM、Geophysics等知名学术期刊上发表多篇高水平论文。
